Eugene ChrinianOn May 13th, 2015 Factory Direct Enterprises, LLC surprised victims of the Avalon at Edgewater apartment fires with brand new Ashley Sleep mattress sets, bedding and frames.

Factory Direct Enterprises is a longtime licensee of Ashley Furniture HomeStore and sought to assist these local youths by providing them with the tools necessary to ensure a good night of sleep.

These beds and accompanying bedding were provided through the Ashley Furniture HomeStore charity program “Hope to Dream”.  Hope to Dream is an initiative that encourages team members and customers alike to help Ashley Furniture HomeStores and its licensees identify young people in need in an effort to  then furnish them with the tools necessary for a restorative night’s rest.

Residents from Avalon at Edgewater  apartments have continued to suffer from the numerous effects of the January fire – the biggest fire in the history of Bergen County, New Jersey. Each one of the 240 units on the property was demolished by the blaze. This tragedy rendered over 500 people homeless and displaced countless others.

On Wednesday, May 13th, a dedicated Ashley Furniture HomeStore truck loaded with complete bed sets delivered the goods to young people in their current homes.  According to Chief Executive Officer of Factory Direct Enterprises, LLC, Eugene Chrinian, “We cannot replace the homes lost by these residents, but we can help by giving them a good night’s sleep.”

According to Janine Monize, HomeStore’s Guest Experience Specialist, the Hope to Dream Agents were paired with members of the delivery team in order to, “ meet the selected families and demonstrate our commitment to the communities we serve”.
